BROAD SPECTRUM ANTIBIOTIC FOR MASTITIS, RESPIRATORY DISEASE, SEPTICAEMIA, DIGITAL DERMATITIS
COMPOSITION
In 1 ml
Cefquinome sulfate……………………..25 mg
INDICATION
For the treatment of bacterial infections in cattles and pigs caused by the Gram positive and Gram-negative microorganisms sensitive to cefquinome.
- Cattle:
- Bovine Respiratory complex and shipping fever, caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica.
- Digital dermatitis, infectious bulbar necrosis and acute interdigital necrobacillosis (foul in the foot).
- Acute E. coli mastitis with signs of systemic involvement.
- E.coli septicaemia in calves.
- Pigs:

- For the treatment of bacterial infections of the lungs and respiratory tract caused by Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Streptococcus suis and other cefquinome-sensitive organisms.
- Mastitis-Metritis-Agalactia syndrome (MMA) with involvement of E.coli, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp. and other Cefquinome sensitive organisms
ADMINISTRATION
For intramuscular injection. Treatment every 24 hours for 3 to 5 days
- Cattle: 2 ml/ 50 kg BW.
- Calves: 4 ml/ 25 kg BW.
- Pigs and piglets: 2 ml/25 kg BW
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Not use for hypersensitive animals to any component
Do not administer intravenously
WITHDRAWAL TIME
- Meat and offal:
- Cattle: 5 days (Milk: 1 day)
- Pigs: 3 days
