COMPOSITION
In 1 g.
Oxytetracycline……………………..500 mg
INDICATION
- Bacterial infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to Oxytetracycline and secondary associated bacterial infections during the course of viral or infectious diseases.
- Poultry Respiratory infections, i.e. C.R.D. (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma sinoviae), gastrointestinal infections (Escherichia coli), fowl cholera (Pasteurella multocida), etc.
- Swine Respiratory infections (Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Bordetella bronchiseptica), gastrointestinal infections (Escherichia coli, Salmonella choleraesuis) etc.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines, severe hepatic or renal impairment. Do not use in other species than those recommended.
DOSAGE
For administration via feed
- Pigs: 25 – 50 mg/ kg BW daily or 1kg / 2 – 8 tons of feed.
- Poultry: 50 – 100 mg/ kg BW daily.
Do not combine with Penicillin or Cephalosporin.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
- Meat and offal: 8 days (swine), 6 days (poultry)
- Eggs: 5 days
STORAGE
Placed at dry cool places, avoid direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children.
