– Treats skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, and enteritis in dogs and cats.

ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE: Used direct oral

Urinary Tract Infection

For the treatment of urinary tract infections, both dogs and cats follow a dosage of 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight, twice daily.

Dogs: require the medication for 5–7 days.

Cats: require a longer course of 10–30 days.

Pyoderma and Soft Tissue Infections

1 tablet per 2.5–5 kg of body weight, twice daily.

• Dogs: Treatment can last up to 21 days but must not exceed 30 days.

• Cats: The treatment duration is generally 5–7 days.

Systemic and Periodontic Infections

• Dogs: 1 tablet per 2.5 kg of body weight, twice daily for 7 days.

• Cats: 1 tablet per 2.5–5 kg of body weight, three times daily for 7–10 days.

Bacterial-Specific Infections

• Gram (+) Infection: 1 tablet per 5–7 kg of body weight, twice daily.

• Gram (-) Infection: 1 tablet per 2.5–3.5 kg of body weight, three times daily.

Note: Treatment duration is a general guideline; treatment is usually continued for at least 2 days after symptoms have resolved.

– Do not combine with tetracycline, macrolide.

– Synergistic with aminoglycosides (streptomycin, gentamycin) against Listeria spp. Synergistic with cephalosposin against Pseudomonas spp.

– Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase, increasing the effect of amoxicllin against many penicillinase-producing bacteria.

– Probenecid competitively blocks renal tubular secretion, thereby increasing serum concentrations and serum half-life.

– Contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to the drug’s ingredients.

– Do not use in rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, ….
