INDICATION
- FLORXIN is a combination product containing a broad spectrum antibiotic, florfenicol, and flunixin meglumine, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. FLORXIN is indicated for treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni, and Mycoplasma bovis, and control of BRD-associated pyrexia in beef and non-lactating dairy cattle.
- Swine: Pyrexia, cough, appetite loss without reasons. Secondary infections of PRRS, collibacillosis infections caused by staphylococcus and streptococcus, pneumonia, pasterollosis. Paratyphoid caused by Salmonella, Gastro-enteritis caused by E. coli. Swollen head syndrome in piglets, urogenital tract infections.Â
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
- Do not use in animals that have shown hypersensitivity to florfenicol or flunixin.Â

- Do not use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older.
- Not for use in lactating and dry dairy cows.
ADMINISTRATION
For intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, one per 48 – 60 hours.
- Swine, calf: 1ml/ 15 – 20 kg BW
- Buffalo, cattle, sheep, goat: 1ml / 20 – 25 kg BW
Do not administer more than 10 mL at each site. The injection should be given only in the neck. Injection sites other than the neck have not been evaluated.Â
